It has been entirely to long since I have posted.  Mostly due to the fact that I am not at liberty, curtesy of HIPPA, to share most of my interesting stories and going ons.  With that I must say that, due to no poor performance or bad behavior on my part, I am currently unemployed.
That being the lowest news I can offer I must say I am very happy to be free of the position which was bring me much stress and frustration.  James and Mum are also very glad I am gone from there.
On the upside of things I am been greatly enjoying the fantastic birthday gift that James surprised me with.  My very own brand new Digital Canon Rebel XT! I've also been using his 50mm lens quite a bit and have been, in the most elementary of ways, very excited and pleased with the results.  I've been on a flower kick lately, it being spring and all and have simply had a hay day at a couple of nurseries.
Here are the results.
The first of these are simply with his 50mm lens.

Here are a few nonflower shots...
These were taken on Saturday in Little Rock.  We went up to see the Avett Brothers play.  I have a whole post with great shots of them and their opener.  But due to the grueling pace of the photo uploading those will be done another day.

BUSY!

Oh man, Oh man! I sure have been busy.  To a crazy degree! Crazy I tell ya!!!!

Work, work work and this last weekend was filled with birthday parties, weddings and other fun happenings.  Actually there was only one birthday party and only one wedding but geez! Isn't that enough?

I have taken tons of pictures lately too.  Some just pictures of fun stuff and others of events.

I'll post them when I get around to it.

Please forgive my absence.  I feel as though I've abandon the computer as of late.  Everything! Not just xanga.

SO until I get back in the swing and find some spare time go read James' blog.

As most of my readers know I have moved to Ruston and am working in West Monroe.
This weekend was very busy and I don't seem to have much time in the evenings to get very much unpacking accomplished.  So I'll try to throw in a little post here and there till things finally fall into place and a steady rhythm establishes itself.

I posted last on how I kept getting new hats at work.  Well I've been given yet another one.  I have been made responsible for making sure all of our clients are still eligible of Medicaid every single month. That's roughly 200 people folks.  I suppose once I get all the kinks worked out things will go well.  You might be wondering what kinks I'm speaking of.  Well, the most recent client list that I could be given was no less than 10 months old which means that there were about 20 people who are no longer clients on the list and about 30 that weren't listed at all, about 1/5 of the names were spelled wrong, and when I tried to gather the list of new clients it was a matter of compare and contrast of about 15 different list to see which names were listed twice.  With the exception of about a half an hour of odds and ends I spend the entire day working on this.  I finally have almost everything I need and tomorrow I'll be typing up an excruciating list of names, birth dates and social security numbers.  Tiny little numbers that make my eyes cross after about 3 hours.

Other than the headache today I am still loving work and all my coworkers.  I surprise myself when I honestly mean that.

My house is freakin' awesome!!!  Daddy and Laura were impressed with it and as soon as things get in their places and it's presentable I'll be having guest over.  Woo hoo!

I had planned to write a bit more but it's fixing to storm so I'm going to get off the computer.

I've really been enjoying chilling out this weekend and the beginning of this week.  It's been a nice change of pace.  But it's soon back to the grind stone and hectic craziness.

What you all must know is James' debut as a TV star will be this Saturday on Lifetime in the movie Queen Sized.  His co-stars include Annie Potts and Hairspray's Nikki Blonsky.  Ok...so he isn't starring exactly but he is a featured extra in several scenes.  A friend of his recently got a job with a big casting agency in Shreveport and she emailed him and said "Wanna be in a movie?" Having Thanksgiving break coming up and not wanting to turn down such fun he immediately agreed!  The director loved him and had him featured in several scenes.
The movie is about a fat chick that, as a joke, gets nominated for Homecoming Queen and decides to try for the title.
It aires Saturday, Sunday and Monday, I at 8:00pm.  As they always say, check your local listings!
